Why Quietmill exists.

We named the studio Quietmill because we want to make software that gets on with useful work. The idea grew from more than twenty years in enterprise IT, seeing teams work around the same small problems.

Founded in the UK in 2026, Quietmill is a small, founder-led studio. Support messages go to the people who build the apps.

We work on the everyday problems inside big platforms: the approval nobody answered, the record that did not renew, the sync that almost works. These problems are too small for platform vendors to prioritise and too annoying for teams to keep living with.

We use automation to help a small team build and support the apps. We remain responsible for what we release and how it works.

So far

• More than 20 years in enterprise IT

  Two decades of enterprise IT: building, shipping and keeping systems alive for organisations that couldn't afford them to fail. The gaps we build apps for now are the ones we spent those years working around.

• 2026 — Studio founded

  Quietmill starts as a small, founder-led studio.

• 2026 — Approval Nudge ships

  Our first app: reminders & escalation for Jira Service Management approvals — the fix teams had requested since 2018, built on Atlassian Forge with zero egress.

• 2026 — Renewals Autopilot shelved

  Renewals Autopilot reached private beta but was not released publicly. We still support existing beta installations; the app is no longer offered.
