Approach
Quiet software, loud standards.
Five rules govern everything we ship. They're why our apps are small — and why they work.
Evidence before code
Every app starts from documented pain: feature requests open for years with hundreds of votes, forums full of duct-tape workarounds, official knowledge-base articles apologising for the gap. If we can't point at the thread, we don't write the code. Approval Nudge exists because teams asked Atlassian for approval reminders for the better part of a decade.
One job per app
Each app fixes one well-evidenced problem and refuses scope creep. No dashboards nobody asked for, no "suite" upsells, no settings page that needs its own manual. If a feature would make the app worse at its one job, it doesn't ship — and the roadmap says no far more often than it says yes.
Every data path has a reason
We build platform-native where the job allows it: Approval Nudge runs on Atlassian Forge with zero egress. Renewals Autopilot, our now-shelved HubSpot app, needed a small external worker to copy HubSpot records reliably, so it used narrow OAuth scopes, encrypted tokens and public setup documentation. We do not pretend those two architectures are the same.
Honest listings
Our docs and marketplace pages state what each app deliberately does not do, and known limitations are documented before you install, not discovered after. We'd rather lose an install to honesty than win a one-star review to spin.
Support that answers
Every app ships with a real support address and a stated response target — within one business day, Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00 UK. Security reports get acknowledged on the same clock and handled with coordinated disclosure. Small studio, short queue.
And the flip side
What we don't do
No behavioural tracking
Our apps don't track your users. Some public website pages use GoatCounter for aggregate page counts, without cookies or fingerprinting. The apps themselves do not use it.
No dark-pattern trials
Billing runs through the platform's own marketplace. Trials end honestly; cancelling is one click and holds no hostages.
No feature sprawl
We won't bolt a chatbot onto a reminder app to chase a trend. Focus is the product.
No zombie apps
If an app ever stops earning its keep, we say so and retire it cleanly with notice and migration guidance — we don't let it rot on your site.
Product privacy policies, vulnerability reporting and disclosure timelines are published on our privacy and security pages.
