Reminders & escalation for Jira Service Management approvals.
The problem
An approval email is easy to miss. When a request stays unanswered, someone has to find the approver and follow up. Approval Nudge handles the reminders and brings stalled requests to the person you choose.
What Approval Nudge does
- Shows who still needs to respond — whether the request names individual approvers or an approver group.
- Reminds only the people who have not answered — on a schedule you set, with a limit on the number of reminders.
- Resends Jira's original approval email — for steps using the Approvers field. Advanced can send pending group members a Jira-hosted reminder with a link to the request.
- Escalates to a fallback person when nothing moves.
- Covers absence and records the result — Advanced adds planned absence cover, a fallback for deactivated approvers, alternate reminder schedules and an exportable approval history.
Checks before making changes
Stops email resends and group reminders once anyone answers. It checks field changes before applying them, and it never changes approval groups.
Runs on Atlassian
Approval Nudge runs on Atlassian's infrastructure and does not send your Jira data to Quietmill servers. Zero egress: no external servers. Approval history stores account IDs, not names.

Standard is free at Atlassian's up-to-10-user app tier. Paid prices follow the Marketplace user tier required for your Jira/JSM site, with a 30-day free trial and billing through Atlassian.
